Hello,

I wasn't able to find an answer to this issue in previous posts.

I have tries every possible path and I still get the same result.

I keep on getting this message: The path for invoices seems to miss the correct file permissions Safe Path (as you can see on the attachment)

Is there any possible solution to this? I've had to stop my business for the last week.
Can you please help me.
Kind regards

I see this exact same error message. The path for invoices seems to miss the correct file permissions Safe Path. AND it does go away with using the posted gavick method into the /log/ folder.

However, isn't the idea for the Safe Path to create a folder entirely outside of the public_html or root area of the site. Thereby, completely eliminating any one from having any possibility of browsing to that location?

Is there maybe a folder or file permission setting which needs to be set for the folder created outside of the public_html root?

Thanks.

Many shared servers prevent you accessing a directory below root, so then there is no choice but to use Joomla root.

Had similar problem with permissions,  i'we noticed that Safe Path link had "\" as separator while other links had "/". After changing backslashes to forward slashes warning disappeared...
hope this is useful

Back slashes are associated with Microsoft (eg Windoes, IIS) servers.

Remove the safepath from your config, the new warning message also suggests a folder with "cryptic" folder name within your admin path, which gives more protection than just the log folder. You can also use the "unguessable" name suggestion and create a folder with this name within the log folder
