Front end category view products listing page numbers incorrect

Hi,

I have a site that is giving me product views on the front end by category.   A couple of the pages are showing for example Page 1 of 4 but there is no 4th page.   I believe this is only happening when the number of products equals the max number on the last page.  So if you are showing 15 products per page and you have 30 products you will see Page 1 of 3, when there should only be two pages.

Any help would be great!
