where does $field['formcode'] points to in the edit_address_userfields.php file?

 I want to change to custom default value to show up as a placeholder on the outout so the user don't have to erase/delete the default value i have input on the virtuemart/configuration/shopper field/Shopper Field Details/ my custom DEFAULT value..

can anybody tell me where is the content of this <?php echo $field['formcode'] ?>??
