Virtuemart Enhancements Extension

Virtuemart Enhancements is a Joomla/Virtuemart plugin... which provides enhancements for Virtuemart.
Currently, the plug-in works on enhancing the 4 major areas on Virtuemart registration/checkout page

- Ajax Username check. (Plug-in can check the username is using is already being used or not.)
- Ajax Email check. (Plug-in can check the email user is using is already being used or not.)
- Default country. (This is one of the features everyone will love to have. This will let you select the default country for your registration form... so that the user doesn't have to select the country.)
- Phone number masking. (This is another great feature every store owner would love to have. So, when the user types in the phone number it automatically gets into your local phone format. (i.e. (123) 456-7890, or 12345-67890)

Some nice features.

A note regarding default country.

Default country. (This is one of the features everyone will love to have. This will let you select the default country for your registration form... so that the user doesn't have to select the country.)

VM2 supports this via a simple parameter setting

Just go to the VM/Admin/Shopper fields (See image below)

Select virtuemart_country_id

Move to the Default box and enter the ID # you want to use and Voila!

223 is USA, 222 is UK

(if you dont know the id of the country you want as default, justlook in the countries listing)
