[SOLVED] notification mails not sent?
« on: September 26, 2013, 11:18:30 am »
SOLVED

I did have order statuses in the selection fields, but apparantly the wrong ones (it was in Russian, so not clear to me). I simply selected all options and all is fine now!

VM 2.22c, Joomla 2.5.14
Php 5.4.19

Hi All,
After upgrading Virtuemart from 2.04 to 2.22c I am not getting any order confirmations after placing orders.
Both clients mail as admin mail seem not to be sent.

In the rest of the site Email works just fine.
I tried changing joomla mail settings, sentmail, mailer and SMTP.
Maillogs do not show any mail coming from the site.
debug does not show any information about the mailing.

What can it be?

Kind regards,
Alex

In newever versions they introduced an option where you can select order status to send email to the customer and also to the vendor.

Check in your global vm config under the tab you can see in the image (dont know how that tab is named in english sorry). In my case on first installation no status were selected by default, therefore no emails were sent.

Thanks a lot!

I have been searching extensively but apparantly did not find the solution.
It did not help that the site in Question is in Russian, there were 4 statuses mentioned, no idea what they represented, I did not border to find out, just selected all :)

All is fine, again, thanks a lot!
