Feature request: Unique thumbnail sizes for Manufacturers, Categories, Products

Hello Milbo & Company,

What is the feasibility of having unique thumbnail size settings for Manufacturers, Categories and Products? One of my clients is asking for page layouts that could be easily satisfied if that functionality were available. Instead since it's a small store I am creating Joomla articles for Manufacturer and Category pages, and then using the VirtueMart Product Wall - http://www.joomlaxtc.com/index.php?option=com_jxtcslim&view=package&cid=1&id=2072 to display products on the article pages. While this all works nicely, it would be cumbersome in a large online store.

BTW, I love the dynamic thumbnail resize feature in 2.0.21f!

I am sorry, I dont get it. What you want seems to be just different thumbnail sizes for product, manufacturer and so on. So just disable autothumbs and create your own? Maybe I dont get your question.

Choose a decent thumbnail size and modify the view using CSS IMG tag

No need for varying sizes per view
