Hi All,

I'm slightly stuck on my development as my client needs the checkout to give discount based on number of items in the cart.

I.E

if the cart has only 1 item then the buyer pays full price for the item.

if the cart has 2 or more items in the cart the buyer get discount on each items i.e. item 1 and item 2.

The discount amount is fixed so it can be of a value or percentage and this would be a global variable so on checkout buyer gets discount on multi-buy.

My client want to do this to encourage multi-buy from the store.

Are there any plugins that i can purchase to resolve this issue or does VM2 have features like this built in that am not aware of.

Please advise if anyone has a suggestions.

Thanks

Apparently AWOCoupon (pro version) has this feature, but I haven't tested it as yet.

Thanks for the recommendation this component is ace. great support from the developer as well spoke to him on the phone.

I highly recommend this component as it works perfectly.

I do not question that Awocoupon is good, but as far as I know it is not exactyl written for this case. I suggest to use this http://extensions.virtuemart.net/products/quantity-related-price-calculation-detail

But in fact, part of it is already native in vm. The quantity per product is native in vm2.
Should I fix your bug, please support the VirtueMart project and become a member
