Product Price options

Hello. I have a product, the price of which depends on 3 options.  So the buyer has to be able to choose one of three price options.  Is this possible?

Only just getting my head around VM after a long break, but I think you would need to create child products to achieve this.

No doubt someone more experienced will reply to confirm
