How to put discount price to product...?

Hello!

I would like to ask how to put discount price to product..?

Can I do this via admin panel..? I have to go to Calculation and rules..?

Please gige me some notes..

Discounts can come through,
* taxes -100s of options there
* certain customers groups
* you can set discounts manually in the price area of a product
* Coupons
* Discounts by country etc ( most in Taxes)

Admin panel ( joomla ? server) or are you talking about virtuemart configuration panel. ( this is where it is done)
