Import product data

Hi all,

We want to start with VirtueMart in our Joomla system 2.5.9 version. We have a web to sell books, but we want to use VirtueMart. Is there any way to import the product data to VirtueMart? If so, can someone to point me how can we import product data and what data is necessary?

I can see that this does have some interesting capabilities.

A license key per machine could make it very expensive for a business with more than one person responsible for the store.  Why not one license per store??
