Product Search - Limit to product name only

Hi,

I hope some of you migth have solutions for the following problem. I want to restrict the product search to the product name only (and avoid searching the product description, short description, category name, sku etc.).
Changing the code in the search plugin was easy for the basic joomla search, but unfortunally it seems the virtuemart search / product search module (included in the aio pack) doesn't use this. Is there an easy solution to do this ? I'm aware that there are several search extensions for VM, but they include many options I'm not intrested in at all and I'd prefer to keep everything simple.

i think only with a core hack and this is not recommended
