Hi !

I would like the vendor to be able to edit and change the orders status from the front end ( ie : Pending 2 Shipped ).

So far the only editing I can do from front end are the products...

Thank you in advance !

Hello,

I've been trying to determine if front end order status is supported in VM 3. Referencing the documentation at:

http://docs.virtuemart.net/manual/general-concepts/185-administrative-frontend-access-with-acl.html

I read:
"VirtueMart 3 now has an integrated Frontend access for the administration of VirtueMart that previously was only available in the Backend.  VirtueMart uses the joomla ACL to achieve this."

I've followed the instructions in the documentation, but List Orders only allows viewing the orders not changing their status. Did I miss a configuration setting(s) or is this not supported?

Thank you for your help.

If its the admin (vendor) changing order status then it can be done in the back end in the orders section.

You may enable?
"Change order status "

Thanks for your reply.

Yes,  Change Order Status set to Allowed for the Store Manager user group in virtuemart>>permissions>>orders.

I have 2 users in the group now using the back end and we are working okay (i.e. this not a show stopper for us). I plan to add additional users to process orders and was hoping to leave the back end out of their workflow. The documentation / forum searching I've read seems to imply that this should work, but I can't tell for sure. Can you confirm?
