Hi

VM 2.020b and joomla 2.5.9

There are some issues with this feature:

When e-mail is send, the "close" button does not work.

The e-mail doesnt show the image attached correctly and at the email shows incorrect text:

Thanks for buying at USERNAME
USERNAME
Shopname

I tested in default template.

I'm having the same issue, it was also happening in VM1.6, I was hoping that the upgrade would fix it... hope to hear of a solution.

Yep, seems they forgot about this and is a quite nice feature, please fix it in the future cause is quite useful and interesting for all shops.

This is not really a bug. This is the default email footer. You can make a custom layout override for the recommend email view with your favourite layout.

Where in VM exactly do I add the custom override layout for the receiving email?

And also, if not a bug, then why is the area where the receivers email should be and a link to the product not showing? Shouldn't that be by default? Cause even if I change the layout, those features would still be there from the backend where I feel that's where I need to make the real change and I can't locate where.

I found this post where and what I need to change, but its old and its for version 1.1.2. https://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=47065.0
The problem is that the file I need to locate is no longer there as specified ie... administrator/components/com_virtuemart/language/common/english.php

Its obvious that the above file has been removed and the script therein too. But to where...whats the new location? Can you please tell me which new file handles it now in VM 2? Thanks!

It really helps to read the manual, in special the part "how to override layouts"

Should I fix your bug, please support the VirtueMart project and become a member
