Hello,
I recently purchased a template from Rocket Theme and I am running VM2. I am trying to create a menu page that links to a product however when I click on the link from the frontend I receive the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/content/21/9611221/html/gjnew/templates/rt_diametric_responsive/html/com_virtuemart/productdetails/default.php on line 2

The strange thing is that when I change my template to one of the basic preinstalled Joomla templates the link works fine. I would refer this question to Rocket Theme since it seems to be an issue with the template but they charge $75 for support questions. I was hoping someone here could give me a hand.

Thanks in advance!

Jörgen

Hello

I see that RocketTheme charges for support. Their support forum is free to search though. If You have bought their template You will also have full access to post questions. I would recommend You to use their forum. This lookes like a problem with the template. But does the diametric template really have support for Virtuemart ? or have You added the code for productdetails yourself ? I would check the code in /html/gjnew/templates/rt_diametric_responsive/html/com_virtuemart/productdetails/default.php and see where the extra '<' comes from. Could be an easy typing error.
regards

They charge $75 for a support hour, but they mean with this support which is not related to a bug, of course. Write them, it is just a sloppy error and they will be asap send you a fix. If not tell here, so others now they should avoid them.
Should I fix your bug, please support the VirtueMart project and become a member
