Addition of a new category doesn't work from frontend

Hello.

I tried to assign second category to product from frontend with beez5 template - no way, it don't work. I cleaned cache, pressed refresh - no result. It works only through product editing at backend.
VM 2.0.18a, Joomla 2.5.9, PHP 5.3.8, xampp 1.7.7
