How to restrict search only in some categories (in search plugin)

I use joomla 2.5.9 and virtuemart 2.0.18
i want restrict search only in some categories , for example only search in categories with this id :  id=2 , id=4 , id=7 , id=10 ....
how to change virtuemart search plugin ?

I'd like to do almost the same. I want to exclude certain categories from being searched.
