[ SOLVED ] Remove Category Lists from Search result

Hi there,

I really need some help. My search results show also the categories and i want to remove them from the search results so only products are shown. I found these 2 topics :

but the things in there don't help when i did them. Even when i delete the whole map tmpl from components/com_virtuemart/views/category the results doesn't give an error so i think the problem is somewhere else.

Anybody who can help me? I have Joomla version 2.5.5  and Virtuemart version  2.0.18a

Are you using template overrides already?

No, not that i know. I have no idea how to do that.

Look in your Joomla template's html directory  (something like /templates/your_template?html/ ) and checkk if there is a com_virtuemart directory there. If so then you are using overrides and it is the files in there you need to edit.
