How

Is there any place where we can get the unreleased Virtuemart 2.1?

I want to check the new features in order to upgdate my extensions

Hi

Is there a place where we can find the 2.1 beta or some info about the upcoming changes (especially for the custom fields)?

We have invest a lot of energy and money at developing extensions for Virtuemart, so this kind of info is really essential

How to use svn http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/wiki/Setting_up_a_Development_Environment
how to create an installer http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/wiki/Create_virtuemart_installer

But sample data is atm broken in vm2.1. I think you can stay relaxed, we will first release vm2.1 as forum version for 3rd party developers. At the moment I think the vm2.2 will be in march or so.

Thanks

When do you estimate that the vm2.1 beta will be released?

Sorry but are you sure that "Create virtuemart installer" article is accurate?

I cannot install it this way. The zip package does nothing and i don't get any message either

I'm afraid the "Create virtuemart installer" article in the Wiki is a little bit outdated. Last update of the article was 9 months ago. But instead of trying to create an installer, you could download TortoiseSVN and make a complete SVN checkout of the 2.1 trunk. It's easier than creating an installer and you are always up to date with a mouseclick. (The easiest way to get this working might be to install the 2.0.12 stable version with the Joomla extension manager and then copy the SVN checkout over it and run 'Clean Up' once from the Tortoise menu. Didn't do this myself for quite a while, but in the past this procedure worked)
