I recently updated my vm to the latest version on my site gokkamakka.com.

I was enabling the "Checkout As Guest" settings in my vm backend, when my entire vm module (gokkamakka.com/shop) suddenly disappeared.

Having said this, my products are all intact:

What can be done to rectify this?

Much Thanks
Sanjay

Hello,

I get a js error http://gokkamakka.com/templates/ot_parelstore/scripts/otscript.js please check it ...
Did you try without template overrides? Can you take a look under joomla error log and paste here the errors?
Also the contact page is not working, are you sure that your sef settings are correctly? Did you try without them? Do you use any 3rd party sef component? If yes please disable it ... the error i don't thing is related to vm2.

Thanks for the quick replies.

Im a newbie at web coding. Im basically running the company as well as coding the site to save costs. Im not sure how to go about the template overrides.

My vm backend says i have the latest version , i.e., 2.0.16.Also do you think i should do a fresh install of virtuemart 2.0.16. What would be the best way to go about it? Uninstall all virtuemart extensions and install from the zip file?

Not sure a to what the js error means.

This happens only when i change the "ask for registration at checkout" option.

Thanks in advance!

Milbo

Hello,

As i see your web site is working ok now except some javascript conflicts that is not related to your custom template. Did you try without template overrides?

Use firebug to examine your site code and styling .. also for checking js conflicts ...

Hello!

The solution was simple. I had assigned the products to uncategorised. I added them to a category and Voila!

Will check on the js errors!

Thanks a lot forum! :)
