how can i setup credit card payments on VirtueMart 2.0

Go to payment methods, and click "new"

Then you will see a dropdown of the available payment plugins.

I am also looking for a credit card payment system. I am totally confused by the plug-ins that are installed at the moment. Which one should I go for if I want basic credit card payments?

Thank you for the reply, however I have just purchased an SSL certificate so we can accept credit card payments through the website. Are there any plug-ins installed that will do the job for me? The link you gave me is not worthy what we are looking for.

Such plugins belongs to 3rd party group of VM extensions (see appropriate section in this forum and extensions catalogs for VM and Joomla both also).
