[ SOLVED ] Can't change amount of products in category view

Hi,

I can not change the amount of products to be displayed in category view. It is always stable at 9. However when I search for products the search result displayes the amount which is set up in the back end?
I have the latest version Joomla. 2.5.8. and VM 2.0.14

Could anyone please help!!
