A counterdown in the shopping cart

Hello to all, I would like to include a counter in the shopping cart, I mean a little, I would like when a customer add some product to a shopping cart in the cart will automatically reflect a countdown with 30 seconds, if the 30 seconds end and the buyer has not clicked at the checkout button, then the cart is emptied automatically, there is some pluign or something to do that? of can I do something in the code? how can I do it?, please if you could help me. thanks

That is a request that I have never seen before! I guess you will have to write or commission a plugin to do that.  There is basic information about the plugin system on http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/wiki/Plugin_system
