Beginner question: Detect successful payment, not paypal
« on: September 08, 2012, 07:43:35 am »
Hello Folks!

I am a total beginner in virtuemart and php coding so my company bought a payment module from aivomatic.com to get it working quickly.

We do not use paypal, we have bank and credit card solution in place.

Maybe this has been up around a lot before, I guess so.

Virtuemart seems to send emails to customer before successful payment, that is not god at all, it should come after successful payment!
Also it should be able activating a post script to be run upon successful payment, how ?

I did not find any checkbox and path to postscript to run after successful payment.

My problem is)
1. How can I activate postscripts to run only after successful payment was done ?
2. How can I send email to customer that order was completed ?

Thank you in advance!

Are you really using the old VirtueMart 1.1 rather than the current VirtueMart 2 series? This is the 1.1 board.

In VM2 you can set the "Default Order Status to send an invoice"
