Hi, got a rather strange situation with a double VirtueMart Component 2.0.8e and AIO modules still at 2.0.7e  :o

Did nothing special:
1. this on-line shop was successfully migrated from Joomla 1.5/Vm1.1 to Vm 2.0.7e (as it got some small errors in the migrator corrected)
2. The strangeness happened right after the update from 2.0.7e to 2.0.8e (which appeared to be successful)
I quickly talked with alatak who got as surprised as I am.

Here are the presently installed extensions:

Fournisseurs VirtueMart Site Module 2.0.7.e June 09 2012

VirtueMart Full Category List Site Module 1.2.0 June 2012
VirtueMart Shopping Cart Site Module 2.0.7.e June 09 2012

My first goal is reporting to the team.
Also I'd like to understand the issue and get rid of it; the owner of that shop is not a dev at all, and I'd rather let him go with a clean install ;D

Here are the testing host specs:

MySQL 5.5.21 (utf8_general_ci)
PHP 5.3.13
Apache 2.0 Handler
Joomla! 2.5.6 Stable

Needless to say I tried to uninstall then reinstall: first AIO only, then Vm + AIO. No luck so far.
How do you think we should go to solve this?

I just tried this on a copy of the shop:

a) uninstall every single Vm extension;
b) install Vm 2.0.10: succes, then AIO: succes

Everything looks back to normal: No more dupe component nor 2.0.7e module :) Only lost the modules configuration (maybe half an hour to re-do)
I bet the fault was on my side and I should have deleted every single Vm extension when updating from 2.0.7 to 2.0.8?

For the devs: installing com_virtuemart.2.0.10 and com_virtuemart.2.0.10_ext_aio on top of existing 2.0.8 / 2.0.7 (on the very same site) keep the mess:

Proceeding with the folowing 2 steps worked succesfully on the production web site:
a) uninstall every single Vm extension;
b) install Vm 2.0.10: succes, then AIO: succes
