Joomla 2.5.6 Virtuemart 2.1.10 on php 5.3.5 mysql 5.5

Just bought and installed the downloadable products extension and working carefully through the tutorial ... http://extensions.virtuemart.net/all-tutorials/9-custom-fields/9-shipment-for-virtual-products

Upload your files to sell....
Quote1. In VirtueMart administration, choose the menu Shop > Media Files.
2. Click on the button New, to create a new media.
3. Set the role to "for Sale". Set the "Image Action" to "Upload" and press save/store.
4. Go in VirtueMart administration, choose the menu Shop > Media Files.
5. Create a new media. Set the role to "for Sale". Set the "Image Action" to "Upload" and press save/store.

Got to the end of step 3. clicked on Save and I get the following message

QuoteFile C:\xampp\htdocs\hc25\C:\xampp\htdocs\vmfiles\sc8 sec 1.pdf uploaded
Media File saved successfully

The path shown is obviously in error ... its tagged the safe path onto the end of my joomla root

at the bottom of the screen the same again ...
QuoteC:\xampp\htdocs\hc25\C:\xampp\htdocs\vmfiles\ :: Unwriteable
C:\xampp\htdocs\hc25\images\stories\virtuemart\forSale\resized\ :: Writeable

I don't know yet if this is going to be a show stopper, but there's obviously an error here that should be fixed.

edit: This is a minor bug - the files were all uploaded and stored to the correct directory

It is just an display error in the core, that means it displays it wrong, but it is used internally correct.
Should I fix your bug, please support the VirtueMart project and become a member
