and still don't know what... where.. your posting in a 2 year old thread about a non existent colourpicker - the last few posts plainly state it wasn't available or didn't work....

Re upgrades - concur with Jenks - I have done many and if there is a problem it is 99% because of an outdated template but most VM2->VM3 go well

Also it depends on the type of custom fields you use in the older version - if stockable it may be a problem - try by clone and test .. as stated so many times

Some J2.5->J3.3 go terribly especially on sites that started life as a J1.5, 1.6, 1.7 etc - I have written on here a couple of posts to help
I never use the installer - just manually unpack the zips and do step by step - no failures since

I guess it depends on what type of store you have and how many items you have in your store.

Moving from VM2 stockable plugin to VM3 child variants seems extremely painful
