Comments not being sent to customers on email

Hi,

I am havig the same issue (although with joomla 1.5 / vm 1.1 -  maybe the solution is totally different - did you ever find one? - because as of now I am unable to find any other leads and this may well be cluthing at straws.

If anyone can help, this would be much appreciated.
