This is the VirtueMart 2 section of the forum, but are you really using VirtueMart 2? That looks like an old PHP4 error with VirtueMart 1.1 - the PHP version on the server is just too old.

It is the PHP version on your server that is too old. Update it to 5.3.x or get a new host.
