Hide price/product to non logged in users

I am a developer looking for a CMS and see Joomla offers a way to have two sites use the same backend.    The last requirement I need to meet is to not show pricing (possibly some products) to users that are not logged in.

Does VirtueMart have the ability to do this? Or would it be a custom modification?
