Limit No of Products shown In Category

Hello,
I have about 50 products in a category and I only want to show about 10 to unregistered users. I would like to have a link on that page to say please register to see full collection. After user registers then they are able to see the full collection. Is this possible and any advice how to accomplish it. Thanks.
