Better Product/Category Xref manager?

Hello,

We are in the process of creating a new store that offers a lot of service parts.  Many of the common parts (screws, bolts, etc..) are shared across many categories.

Is there a better way to manage putting a single SKU into multiple categories.  Right now we are CTRL-clicking on all the categories we put them in, but it's rather cumbersome and if we accidentally click without CTRL and don't realize it, we potentially lose all the cross-referencing.

I'm hoping someone has developed a better XREF manager to handle the matrix.
