[Shipment for Virtual Products] - Support Required
« on: April 19, 2012, 04:50:27 am »
I have had a really hard time finding any support for "Shipment for Virtual Products"
as a paid extension it should have easy to find support.

For some reason it is uploading all of my media files to "Administrator" as the root directory.
and in the Media Files section, the "Used URL" doesn't start from my sites root, it starts from "Administrator" so I can't direct it to the proper directory because it then looks for the file in my actual sites root folder.

So it uploads to "Administrator" when I don't use anything in "Used URL", otherwise it uploads it to "Administrator/images/virtuemart/typeless" or whatever folder I put in "Used URL".
Then it looks for the files in my sites actual root folder, and when I edit the media file it removes any directory I put in when initially uploading it and this is why it ends up looking for it in my sites root folder instead of "Administrator"

Why is it uploading to Administrator? I don't have that set anywhere.

and when I make a safe folder in virtuemart, the folder gets created in "Administrator" as the root directory whatever is happening it is messing up all my directories and I don't know how to fix this :(

This is my htaccess file.

PM the developer, Electrocity. I think he is away at Joomla!Day Algeria at the moment, though.

I'll try emailing him.. or rather messaging him..
I've spent 3 days now trying to get VirtueMart working .. this appears to be my last hurdle to finally getting my store working.

I've tried everything I can think of .. :(
Aside from hiring someone to fix it for me.
