Selecting product image to edit, does not update the preview image [VM3.8.2 1032

In the administrator, editing a product. Go to product images, click bottom-right icon in a thumbnail, to edit the image properties (ALT text etc...)
The large image view doesn't update to reflect the currently selected image.

Can confirm this, VM 3.8.2.325, Joomla 3.9.18, PHP 7.3.16

Can anyone confirm if this has been fixed in current version? I have no other reasons to update the sites at the moment, except for this issue.
