Include Joomla reCaptcha in VM 2 user registration

Hi, in Joomla 2.5 there is a reCaptcha plugin that couples nicely on registration form, but there is no captcha on VM2 user registration. It is possible to add joomla standard recaptcha plugin to VM2 user registration?

I use keyCAPTCHA - https://www.keycaptcha.com which works well in VM registration - and even better, I can add the captcha code to the "Ask a question" form to remove that as a source of spamming.

Magne's plugin doesnt work as also he doesnt supports on his website support forum...
People is asking him questions about errors with the specific plugin but no answer.
Also i have seen the errors as i bought the plugin and it doesnt work. While its as easy as he says to use it, it doesnt work as even if you enter the correct letters in the captcha field it says you missed or didnt typed the correct words in the field.
Also even if you enable the plugin to be seen in the manage form so you could change your name, country etc fields it doesnt show.

So my problem remain How to avoid bot registration in our Joomla + Virtuemart 2 registration?
It's tremendous to have reCaptcha on Joomla and can't use it on Virtuemart!! It's a non sense!
How do you solve the problem in your website? What do you suggest me? I see that somebody say that "THE ONLY" solution is keyCaptcha... https://www.keycaptcha.com/demo-magnetic/
But I don't like it very much because in my opinion sometimes a user can be discouraged to proceed to the registration... but it's only an opinion... somebody is able to solve this problem?

For something simple maybe try EasyCalcCheck PLUS which works with VM - http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-a-security/site-security/captcha/11964

As jenkinhill said. I started trying easycalccheck yesterday to see if it works and i got a weird thingie like while i am sure i've seen the captcha in registration now i cant see it. i know it works thou as it shows in contact form.
When i have any news about my progress i will post it.

edit 1:
After some searching about ecc+ i found that it works only for vm 2.0.12f. so for ecc+ we have to wait till they make it work for latest version.
Still searching to find any working captcha for vm registration.

I found a working captcha plugin! at least for me works. Joo Recaptcha Pro

Easy install and setup. you can use the simple math engine for a minimal design or use recaptcha.
I have tested it and i do not have any problems atm.

I've tried Ecc+ but for me it not works (and I've virtuemart 2.0.18a over Joomla 2.5....
You say that it works in Virtuemart2 registration... I've a doubt... for Virtuemart registration page I mean a Menu Voice set to Account Mantenance.
Is it right?

For Joo Recaptcha I see that only the PRO version has the Virtuemart registration capability... but before I'll acquire it, is it possibile to see a demo?

I've the same problem. ECC+ and recaptcha are not shown at VM registriation 2.0.18a / Joomla 2.5

I just installed ECC+ on a Joomla 2.5.11 site with VM 2.0.20b and it works perfect. I was starting to get spammers using the ask a question form, and after trying Joo Recaptcha (which only works for Joomla) I tried ECC+, and I can confirm that it now works with VM 2.0.20b - I also have a google ReCaptcha public and private key for the site, and using ECC+ in conjunction with google ReCaptcha, I now get both showing up in the Ask a Question form. **update** I also noticed that you can also disable the captcha check for logged in/registered users so that they are not required to answer the captcha challenges, which is really nice
