I don't want to spend more words than needed.

1. "Migration process" (or should I say a post on the forum that explains all the acrobation we need to do - http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=95236.0) is funny at least.

2. You SHOULD HAVE made a simple migration script that will export all the data (db + images) and save it to an archive file which can easily be imported into completely new installation of VM2.

PRO

if you want to do that.

Export 1.1 tables, into your new installation database,

move your images over into the new folders.

Then run the migrator

BUT::::::::::::::::::::::: You need to match up joomla users to vmart users,

SO, What I do is,

Run Jupgrade on my old site,

Install 2.0 on it,

Run The MIgrator

Then, export the tables, and import into NEW site database.

Hi, could you explain a little bit how to do this? I have managed to upgrade my old site, and now i want to move it over to new joomla installation. How can i move it and keep the joomla users and vm users linked?
