Is there no extension for Paypal Pro and VirtueMart?

I have been looking since February for an extension for Paypal Pro. There has only been one extension which has now been removed and is under investigation.

Does anyone have an alternative solution?

This is something I need to know as well. I have a client that is basically requiring that his payment system use Paypal Pro so users don't have to be redirected away from the website to pay, but it doesn't seem there's a working plugin available for VM2. This is incredibly frustrating - I'm just hoping someone the owner at BigFoot fixes his issues with the download codes, I've sent him a few emails already.

On the JED, i  found this:

I assume it works for VM2, since it says that it works for Joomla 2.5

When you go to their website, you see this message at the top of the products page:

Well ok.. i did not go that far.. Since VM1 is afaik not working on VM1.
