I am using Joomla 2.5.4 and VirtueMart 2.0.6

I have had numerous problems I've managed to fix (yay me!)

But I'm not sure how to fix this, I've searched around the forum and can't find any steps to fix it.
I keep getting 404 Not Found When Using Joomla Native SEF & Use URL rewriting

I have them disabled right now..... but I really need to be able to use these functions with VirtueMart.

Does anyone know what steps I need to take to fix this issue?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys!

sounds like an htaccess problem.

To create my htaccess

OR, did you go local to live? or move from one domain to another?

Do you have something set for   "Var live site", in your configuration.php file?

My site is live, always has been.. and no I haven't moved it around at all.

and to be honest, I'm not sure what "var live site" is all about...

before I had this problem with Virtuemart, I was able to use the SEF and URL Rewriting with no problem in Joomla (why wouldn't the htaccess file I used for that work for virtuemart?) what would I have to change to make it work?

I'm not exactly sure how this works... :P

on what links?

what pages?

also, look at "view source"

what does it say for the live site when you are on vmart pages?

does it say www? when you are non www?

etc.

Okay I'm not sure exactly what I did, but it seems to work perfect with SEF and URL Rewriting now.

Although I do have another issue that doesn't seem to be related so I will start another thread.
