Selling Downloadable Products W/New Extension

I purchased the new selling downloadsextension and had it installed. Problem is thereare no instructions anywhare on how to make it work.
They clsim you can send a free download. I can't even send a paid for download. Is there anyone out there with the same problem. Has anyone found a solution? Can anyone supply instructions? Joomla 2.5.3 and Vertuemart 2.0.2
