In the table, select the desired option product (size, color) and buy a single click.
It is possible to do this? Thank you ..

I would VERY, VERY, VERY much like to do this---particularly with child products. If anyone knows how to do this, please post. Not being able to have multiple selectable products on one page is a MAJOR shortcoming of Virtuemart.

Parent Product  with images, description
Accessory 1 with images, description- select (via checkbox)
Accessory 2 with images, description- select (via checkbox)
>ADD<

---can't do it. >:(

Interesting. Thanks for the suggestion---I downloaded, installed, and played around with it for quite a while but couldn't ever get it to present as they have demonstrated on their web site, much less the way I would like it shown.

....frustrating.

If there is anyone that would be interested in coding something like this for my application (for a fee) please PM me.

Check the Product Builder component.

I am just talking with someone about this.

It can be quite easily done with a template override of the category view. It is just adding the amount for every product, put it into a form and to create one add to cart button at the bottom or so.

Milbo, can give an example of such a code implementation? Thank you.

balai

@Milbo

That solution exists. Check my previous post.
It is not as easy as it seems.
What about custom fields? Calculation rules? Price based on quantity (your plugin)?

Product Builder takes into consideration all of these plus more

DRACULINOS

This has to be on the custom fields, it was a major feature for VM1 and we have to keep it on VM2.
I dont think it will be wise to make it as category thougth. Where will be the main description , the image etc.  Nuuh

I cant imagine a user who wants 10 skus from a parent that he has to enter 10 times in the product , that will be insane.

I agree,

I found out later, that I just would do it as productdetails template and/or as product custom. then you can easily switch between multiple items or a dropdown.

I am happy that you wrote a component like this balai. But I think a simple solution should be in the core.

Hi all,

Did anyone find a solution for this?

Have tried using cart variants but can't work out how to display each variant on its own line to allow the user to select multiples of each variant with a single add to cart button  on the page.

Any help appreciated!
