I am having problems getting the VM2 cart displaying on pages in which the user has clicked an internal link.

If I go directly into the module and select to display on all pages (under menu assignment) it works but I don't want to display on all pages.

Here is the scenario:
I created my own article for my VM home page (my storefront to purchase wine) that has my 3 products.  I simply made 3 different links and then grabbed the links to each product details page.  When you click the link the product comes up in virtumart however the cart module doesn't load.

my site is coattailswine.com
Click purhcase wine
Select any of the 3 wines
check to see if the cart comes up - it doesn't

Thank you for the help in advance!

1. I could not add to cart, so could not see it. You are loading jQuery once with VM and again with your template. That will stop the cart from working. http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/wiki/General_JS-Problems_with_templates_and_jQuery

2. You do not have a top menu link to the VirtueMart component to which you attach the modules. Change the article link to a category link maybe - but you will have to test as I cannot tell if you have different cats.

The strange thing is that I have had my cart working before and I can't seem to pinpoint what caused it to stop working.  Meaning I have had the cart displaying properly and popping up when adding items to the cart - with the same/current template and vm2 Jquery settings.  I did go ahead and disabled the VM JQuery and it did some strange things when adding to cart.  Instead of popping up it went to a new page with a stripped template and showing order details. Ive attached a screenshot.

this makes me think that there really inst a JQuery conflict - but I could be wrong.

I lost my cart yesterday,

all I did was try and redirect the server -   I was in cpanel - noted that the site was not including the www and tried a redirect my site -

so I had http://maysite.com and I fixed it to http://www.mysite.com  and had exactly your issue -

obviously - if fixed it - but

Just for information -

Thats interesting you brought that up because I had my site in a subfolder of the server root and I just copied it to the root when I went live.  Everything seemed to have functioned but apparently not...  By redirecting did you mean that you just went into global config and changed to www. or did you get some sort of redirect extension.

Thanks for the comment,

I did this in the server , itself in cpanel redirect

have a look here too http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=95979.0
