Showing product in article

I have a few problems that are related:

I want to show a product in an article with a link/button for the details (Page)

I have tried to use (loadposition vmxxxxx} with the category module but that one does not show the subcats. (and yes it is set to show in the config /templates settings.)

Is there any other way to get this working? Would be nice to have a plugin that can load it by ID, {vmproduct ID=2} or so?

Joomla 2.5.4 with VM2 2.04
