Title: Adding Joomla content to products description
Post by: nullachtfuffzehn on January 27, 2012, 14:07:40 PM
As far as I've read it should be possible to display any content from Joomla in Virtuemart 2 by activating it in the shop configuration.

Right now I tried to integrate a users manual for a product via Phoca Download but to no avail. The code is not rendered.

Plugins are all activated.

Did I get it wrong, so VM2 will only display native Joomla content or is there something going wrong with the plugin?

Thanks for shading some light on this issue.

You need to use VM2.0.1 for J! plugins to work in the product full description.

Thanks for your reply, but for some reason after the update from 2.0.0. to 2.0.1. all the products and categories had been gone even if they were still in the database. Got to roll back to 2.0.0. to get it to work again.

Instead of using the the content I decided to add a link to the document in the products description. That works pretty fine.
