Title: Unable to add product category, custom fields, manufacturer on Joomla 2.5

Hi!

Today I installed final stable Joomla 2.5. Virtuemart 2 on top. Everything went fine, no errors. It is unable to add a new Product Category, Custom Field, Manufacturer, adding single product works OK. There are no visible errors, just the graphics fails.

its not compatible with 2.5 yet

Same here, do I need go down rev to 1.7?  or is there a fix for 2.5 coming soon?

Please advise ASAP, I'm already behind on a deadline.

Nothing can really happen until J2.5 is fixed. Waiting for 2.5.1 - see https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/joomlabugsquad/4RLnsIvDCVY

Hello,

I have VM 2.0 and Joomla 2.5.1, and same problem as you, can't add product categories.
It seems that Joomla 2.5.1 didn't fix that probelm.

Its been a crazzzy time with the new version and I have had a couple of weeks - pulling my hair out - but all worth it in the end. I had the same problems with the backend category issue, using Gavicks new esport template, downloaded the latest com_virtuemart.2.0.1.N_extract_first.zip - installed and all working perfectly
