Title: Trying to find a good slideshow for VM2.0
Post by: cyberrick on January 03, 2012, 18:30:15 PM
I'm trying to so a slideshow on the storefront but with no luck.  I'd like to show several specials in a slideshow on the home front page but it does
not seem to be working.  I'm new to Virtuemart so I'm probably just getting the settings just right.  I am going in to the Shop tab and entering a picture
in the description area for now to test.  I've tried DJ Slider, and Simple Slideshow but neither seem to work.  When I try to use them I get this error:

Warning: require_once(/home/cyberick/public_html/craigger/modules/mod_xmlswf_prodgallery/../components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart_parser.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/cyberick/public_html/craigger/modules/mod_xmlswf_prodgallery/mod_xmlswf_prodgallery.php on line 157

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/cyberick/public_html/craigger/modules/mod_xmlswf_prodgallery/../components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart_parser.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/cyberick/public_html/craigger/modules/mod_xmlswf_prodgallery/mod_xmlswf_prodgallery.php on line 157.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Hey there,

I can recommend Eny Image Slideshow..

Examples how it looks like can be found on http://demo.virtuemart.net/ (http://demo.virtuemart.net/) or on http://liquid-extasy.de/index.php/shop (http://liquid-extasy.de/index.php/shop)

Unfortunately it's not for free, but I think 6,99€ is ok. If you are interested the developer's site can be found here: http://www.developing-and-design.com/en/joomla/extensions/image-slideshow.html (http://www.developing-and-design.com/en/joomla/extensions/image-slideshow.html)

My shop is running on VM2.0, so it's definitaly compatile.
