From the administration area go to the Product Categories view. Take the first category and see the number of products the Products column says the category contains. It will be something like '2 [ Show ]'. Now go on and create a new product. At the product creation page just choose the first category for the category of the product. Fill nothing else. Click on Save and Close. The following error should occur:
vmError: VmTableData Product Name in record is missing ! Can't save the record with no Product Name.
Now go to the Product Categories view again. The number of products (Products column) for the specific category has now increased by 1 (in the specific example it will be '3 [ Show ]').
