Hi

Here is a project that could be made with VM2: an e-commerce site where products are 3D files that users view through a java 3D applet in order to have them printed by a 3D printer and delivered via postmail.

(we already have the java 3D applet)

Each product has its options:
- thumbnails with colors
- thumbnails with materials
- thumbnails with coating
- list of sizes

There is a shopping cart, delivery options and payement choices (paypal, paybox and pay on delivery)

The user can also upload his own 3D files and store them in a private space, view them and ask for:
- having it printed in 3D
- having it added in the shop catalog

How VM2 could allow such an e-commerce experience?

You need to write your own plugin being a combination of this 3
