Title: Shopper Group discount VS Product discount
Post by: Piszi on November 06, 2011, 04:29:25 AM
Hello,

I have just one question.
Is VM2 able to seperate shopper group discount ( s ) from product discounts?
For example I have a wholesale group with 20% discount from everything BUT lets say in this month I will sell one or 2 product 35% less than its base price. Will VM2 show for everyone the -35% or for the wholesale group (35+20) -55% ?

Thanks

Ok I new that I can add different prices for different groups but I have about 150 produts and almost all has child products and it is a little tiring to edit prices every month.
I thought something like this instead: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=85834.0 (first post) I did this with 1.1.x and for me it is working well and saved me time :)

btw I think it would show 55%.

I think also you should play more arround with it. You can combine discount rules. You can also use the discount override to use a specific discount rule to override the generic ones. A discount by shoppergroups is here generic.
