We are trying to use the "reorder" field that appears in the admin area under products, only after you have filtered down to a category. We have changed our display / template to take account of that field. I believe that field maps to jos_virtuemart_product_categories.ordering. The problem occurs when one opens a product for edit and saves it as it seems to delete the content in that field.
