Whether there is such functionality, or only with third-party extensions?
The problem there is the dynamic price building of vm2.
We have two options, sorting for the costprice, which may work for some shops. Or adding a price cache, which will be obviously a more complex solution.
And search by custom fields?
by product type? that wont be hard at all
Maybe it is already working,.. writing this searching stuff makes fun, since we have a nice system now. But by product type is maybe already working just a bit hidden, but at least planned.
Hi,
After you do a normal search the custom fields are displayed and you can do a search by custom field and normal search.
For the moment the search by customfield is not finished and i/ we don't guaranty the displayed result are filtered correctly.
there is a BIG need for searching by parameters (size, color, ect ..)

AND if that need is there for an individual shop, it can easily be organized that way.
