hi

i downloaded the zip and then uploaded in the joomla admin, and it marks an error of missing xml setup file

any ideas?

Check which version you are using. This forum section is only for VirtueMart 2

even though this is the wrong section of the forum, i think your problem is because of your upload_max_filesize and it happens with all versions. try setting your upload_max_filesize in your php.ini file to a higher number like 24
